Summer Camp Registration and Payment Process

  • Internal families can register in their Digibot Parent Portal beginning February 2, 2026.

External families will need to fill out the online form to request Digibot access beginning February 2, 2026 (links to the form are available in the Baden and Elmira camp location tabs above). External families can then register in Digibot beginning February 4, 2026.

Confirmation of registration can be accessed through your Digibot Parent Portal.

Fees will be automatically withdrawn on the first day of the month following registration (i.e., on March 1 if registering February 2).

Camp fees are non-refundable regardless of cancellation or withdrawal. We appreciate your understanding.

What to Bring

Camp will be held outside for the duration of the summer! We will have access to the school for washroom use and in case of inclement weather.

Please ensure your child always comes to camp with the following items in a backpack or sports bag labelled with their name:

· a snack for the morning
· a lunch
· a snack for the afternoon
· a water bottle
· a hat
· sunscreen
· running shoes
· clothing for cool mornings and hot afternoons
· a change of clothes in case things get messy
· a bathing suit and towel for water activities

Please note:

We are a peanut and nut-safe environment. DO NOT send peanut butter or nut products to camp with your child.

Parents/guardians must complete and return the Individualized Plan and Medication paperwork included in the enrollment package for children who require an EpiPen, an inhaler, and/or medication while they are at camp. Medication MUST be in its original container and parents/guardians must hand it directly to a camp educator at drop-off and fill out a form before leaving. We cannot administer Tylenol or Advil without a doctor’s note.

 Drop-Offs and Pickups

Creative Beginnings Early Learning and Care has a face-to-face drop-off and pickup procedure. The parent/guardian must visually and verbally connect with the child’s camp educator so they know when your child is arriving and departing for the day.

Policies and Expectations

  • It is expected that campers will act in an appropriate manner at all times while at camp. To aid in this positive behaviour we have outlined 5 camp rules and our Behaviour Tolerance Policy that must be followed:

    1. Hands and feet must be kept to yourself at all times.

    2. Speak to others the way you would want them to speak to you.

    3. Do not touch things that do not belong to you.

    4. Stay in the activity area at all times. Camp educators must be notified if you are leaving for any reason (e.g., a bathroom break).

    5. Follow the direction set out by your camp educators.

  • Camp educators will follow CBELC’s Child Guidance Procedure, which includes problem solving and positive redirection. If a child continues to impose a risk to the health and safety of other children or educators, their camp space will be terminated. There will be no hitting, kicking, shoving, spitting, stealing, or damage to another person or their property, or physical or verbal threats toward themselves or others while at camp. If this occurs, parents will be contacted and the child may not be welcomed back to camp at the parent’s expense. No refunds will be issued.

For questions prior to the first day of camp about these expectations and policies, please contact our CBELC Extended Day Supervisors: Aimee Johns at aimeej@creativebeginningselac.ca or Nicole Larocque at nicolel@creativebeginningselac.ca.
